Orange for starters....

Thank you to Juliab for asking about other vintage bits in our home.  Sadly not enough hours in the day to blog about all the things in our house so uploading an old montage of some of the orange and yellowy things in our house.  A mix of china and fabrics and bits and bobs as usual.  Let me know if you would like to know more about any of them  - some have appeared on this blog in the past but I like the overall look of a montagey type thingy!

PS:
Also sorry about blogger being a bit bloggy - I have lost track of how many comments that I have left that never appear or blogs that I thought that I was following but fall off the track.  Does anyone know why/how that happens?  Sorry if I have seemed rude in any way by not commenting but I am there - similarly the Enigma code that you have to break in order to post a comment drives my ku-ra-zy sometimes.  I will keeping trying but often collapse after the tenth attempt (the other day the Enigma code did not change each time it refreshed - goodness knows how many combos I tried!!)

PPS - Am now 'getting on' - got a small mountain of work to complete!

  1. Hello Jenny:
We very much like your collage of vintage items, any one of which would, we feel, tell a story.

As for Blogger, frustrating at the best of times. As for word verification, it too drives us insane and we gave up using it ourselves quite some time ago.

  3. Lovely, autumnal colours ... particularly like the primrose tin!

Don't get me started about the 'prove you're not a robot' thingy! It really does make you want to give up, and is it me, or are they getting smaller, more shufled together, and absolutely more impossible to read, even with my vari-focals!

Grr ... have a lovely week,

    1. Many thanks Claire - I too have entered the world of vari-focals - not quite the revolution that I had hoped for (despite the great expense!) as I still cannot see to thread a needle so have to ask the children...
      Grr indeed

    1. Yay - we are trendy this season! To be honest most of the orange bits are in Bronte's bedroom as that is 70s in its general appearance. Nice and cheery though!
Your eyes are good to go!

    1. Dear katysclutter
Noooooo - more space is not the answer! For many years we lived in a one bedroomed flat...it was quite full and I thought that a house would be the solution....first house had three bedrooms and that pretty soon was full. Our home now has five bedrooms, cellar and attic....standing room only....!

  11. I have to say I find most things about blogger baffling. I often post comments and then end up losing them. I think the fact that I manage to do a post at all is more good luck than anything else! I love your blog and the humour you put into it by the way!

    1. Thank you Faye - these were all bought from a local charity shop (they turned up two weeks apart!). I think that they were made in Korea in the 70s and come in male and female form, clowns too I have seen! Keep your eyes peeled and they will turn up
